Rachel Conrad, a speech-language pathologist and advocate, shared how her own experiences growing up with ARFID and pediatric feeding disorder have shaped the way she supports families today. As a child, she often felt overwhelmed and misunderstood around food. Now, she brings that perspective into her work, helping families feel more confident, supported, and connected during mealtimes. Rachel combines clinical knowledge with lived experience to guide care rooted in trust and respect. She is also involved in national research and advocacy efforts to improve how feeding differences are understood and supported. Building connection and trust around food is a passion and dream of hers because she believes it lays the foundation for stronger relationships, greater confidence, and more joyful mealtimes.
